In Africa, facing corrupt judges, bought prosecutors and police officers in the pay of the highest bidder, he chooses not to bend.
He pays a heavy price: kidnapped and arbitrarily detained for six weeks in conditions reserved for those who are to be silenced.

Drawing on this experience, and faced with growing demand from people caught in doubt, manipulation or crisis, Veuve Noire was born naturally. Not as an extension. As a necessity. To stand by people where they too often find themselves alone.

Every year, people give up defending their rights — not because they are wrong, but because the system wears them down before they even begin. Veuve Noire refuses this fate.
